Welcome
"For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance."
Romans 11:29 KJV
In the Summer of 2010, Single Mother, Carlet Horne, stood in a church service. At a
point in the service, Bishop Brandon Thompson, looked at her and said, "I'm asking
God to bless your hands." At the time, she felt honored that someone of his calibre
would ask God such a thing. She assumed this meant it was time to pursue the
business idea she had been working on. But when that came to no avail, she became
frustrated again, and she sought the advice of Bishop Thompson, whom she had,
and to this day has, the utmost trust. Instead of advice, a loving rebuke is what she
got. He said, "Stop complaining about the circles. Be still and hear from God." She
followed his instruction and....Waited. After another church service in the Fall of the
same year, Carlet had what she thought was an amazing dream where she could
hear words being spoken like a story. She awoke from the dream, and the words
were still there, blaring in fact, so she grabbed a pen and the first available piece
of paper and wrote down what she heard. For many days to come, it was as if God
would speak to her in her sleep, while riding in the car, or wherever He chose, and
give her words for poems and other writings. Thus, the Poet and Writer were born
and her Journey Begins.
"AsHeSpeaks....I write."................Carlet Horne
